The IT Intern Business Analyst (Observability) role is designed to offer hands-on exposure to the intersection of business and technology, with a strong focus on Observability practices. This internship is an excellent opportunity for aspiring analysts to learn how to gather business requirements, analyze data, and improve processes while working closely with experienced professionals in the area of Observability and IT monitoring. The focus is on building foundational skills, a proactive mindset, and understanding how Observability tools support business and IT performance.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • assisting in collecting and documenting business needs by collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders, particularly in the area of Observability

  • supporting in analyzing data from Observability platforms (e.g., New Relic) to identify trends, performance insights, and opportunities for process improvements

  • learning to create clear and comprehensive documentation for business processes, Observability requirements, and monitoring use cases

  • configuring dashboards in New Relic (Observability tool) to visualize key metrics and KPIs

  • setting up alerts for platform users to ensure proactive monitoring and response to issues

  • discovering and analyzing the platform’s architecture to define observability needs 

  • engaging in meetings and discussions, gaining experience in bridging the gap between IT and business units through Observability practices

  • contributing to ongoing projects by tracking progress, preparing reports, and suggesting data-driven ideas for improving system reliability and user experience

  • participating in training sessions and mentorship programs to develop skills in business analysis methodologies, IT fundamentals, and Observability concepts.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • excellent written and verbal English

  • eagerness to build skills in business analysis and IT, with a proactive “can-do” attitude

  • ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with diverse teams

  • passion for understanding how technology and Observability can drive business solutions

  • basic knowledge of IT concepts and awareness of the Observability trend in IT (logs, metrics, traces, monitoring, alerting)

  • openness to learning new tools and techniques (e.g., New Relic) in a dynamic environment

  • collaborative spirit with a focus on continuous improvement and practical learning.

 

At HEINEKEN Kraków, we take integrity and ethical conduct seriously.
