Description
We are a prominent and growing Personal Injury Law Firm based in Newport Beach seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Content Marketing Manager. This role is ideal for someone who can craft compelling, high-converting content across multiple channels, balancing brand voice, SEO best practices, and audience engagement—while optimizing for emerging platforms such as Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) and AI-powered conversational search.Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and oversee content strategies that align with brand goals and support lead generation across web, blog, and social media channels.
- Produce engaging, branded copy and media for web pages, blogs, social media, native advertising, and emerging formats (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc).
- Manage editorial workflows, calendars, and content approvals to ensure timely publication.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize content for both traditional search engines and generative AI platforms, ensuring maximum visibility, authority, and relevance.
- Structure and format content to be AI-search-friendly, enabling accurate referencing and citation in conversational AI results.
- Assist with the creation and execution of native advertising campaigns to expand reach and engagement.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools, identifying opportunities to improve traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Provide regular reporting on content KPIs, offering insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization.
- Stay up to date with trends in legal marketing, content formats, SEO best practices, and social platform algorithms.
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably in a professional services or legal environment.
- Proven ability to create high-quality, audience-focused content that drives measurable results.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization strategies, including AI search readiness and E-E-A-T best practices.
- Experience managing editorial calendars and coordinating content production workflows.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and familiarity with social media management tools.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for brand voice consistency.
- Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and adapting strategies based on data.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience producing short-form video, GIFs, and other visual content optimized for social media engagement a plus.
