About the Role

The Licensing Specialist is responsible for assisting with the licensing process for telehealth clinical providers and ensuring compliance with state regulations and board requirements. This role involves managing licensing requests and ensuring documentation is complete and accurate. The Licensing Specialist will work closely with our clinicians and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate license application submission and renewals.

What You'll Do:

Assist with reviewing and completing initial and renewal licensing applications for healthcare providers across multiple states, ensuring timely submissions, follow up and renewals.
Maintain and update licensing documentation in the company database.
Track the status of applications and licenses, ensuring timely renewals and follow-ups.
Communicate with state licensing boards and other regulatory agencies as needed.
Help resolve any issues or discrepancies in licensing documents.
Provide support to the licensing team in preparing reports on licensing statuses.
Assist with any other administrative tasks as required by the licensing team.
Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with all state and federal licensing requirements.
Proactively identify areas for improvement in the licensing process and implement best practices.
Manage communications with state boards and regulatory bodies to resolve escalated issues.
Other duties as required.

Who You Are:

1-2 years of experience in healthcare licensing, credentialing, regulatory compliance or Human Resources.
Experience in multi-state clinician licensing, credentialing, healthcare compliance, or similar field.
Detail-orientated mindset with strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with provider data management systems such as MDStaff, and E-Ticketing software (Jira/Zoho Desk) a plus.

Remote Salary Range$45,000—$50,000 USD
