The Senior Financial Analyst at Berkadia plays an integral role in financial planning and reporting initiatives for the Servicing organization, while also gaining comprehensive exposure across all business segments. This position involves close collaboration with senior executives and team leaders to effectively translate business strategies into measurable financial metrics and monitor the outcomes. The goal of this position is to enhance financial transparency and effectiveness by ensuring that strategic planning is accurately reflected in financial performance and reporting, thereby supporting the overall success of Berkadia.

  • Support month-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead monthly forecasting and contribute to annual budgeting efforts.
  • Analyze financial variances and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and presentations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver financial insights and support planning initiatives.
  • Execute special projects and other duties as assigned to advance financial operations.

We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have: 

  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a background in mortgage servicing and related financial sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling, to create impactful dashboards and visualizations that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Skilled in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel, complemented by expertise with Workday and Adaptive Planning.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present complex financial insights clearly and collaborate effectively across teams while managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
