Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description
Based in London, the EMEA Publicity team leads strategic planning and execution of integrated publicity campaigns for Universal theatrical releases across the region. Collaborating closely with local teams, the group ensures campaigns reflect both market-specific needs and broader regional goals. They support second-tier markets, share best practices, and facilitate communication between territories and the home office to drive box office success and marketing excellence.
As a Publicity Coordinator, you will support the EMEA Publicity team in executing strategic publicity campaigns across Universal theatrical releases. You will collaborate with local teams, manage logistics, and ensure smooth execution of events and screenings. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining communication across departments and territories, facilitating best practices and supporting marketing excellence.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Coordination
- Collaborate with the Home Office Publicity team to coordinate and implement publicity campaigns and assets for Universal theatrical releases across EMEA.
- Manage the trailer launch process across EMEA, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with global strategy.
- Work closely with territory publicity teams to ensure strategic direction is executed effectively for each release.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to shape campaign strategy and identify innovative publicity opportunities.
Talent & Press Management
- Serve as the main press contact for international junkets and press days in EMEA.
- Develop festival strategies in partnership with the Head of Publicity, aligning with global title plans.
- Manage EMEA press interview schedules, including talent grids that reflect strategic priorities, talent availability, and market focus.
- Liaise with talent representatives to optimize scheduling across time zones.
- Oversee talent interviews and handling at premieres, tours, festivals, and press events.
- Coordinate Universal Studios Executive attendance at EMEA events.
Events & Logistics
- Lead logistics for junkets, tours, festivals, and creative content days, including travel, accommodation, glam, and scheduling.
- Manage costume and prop tours, including asset security, insurance, shipping, and setup across EMEA markets.
- Maintain and expand relationships with London hotels and explore new partnership opportunities.
Reporting & Strategy
- Produce timely and accurate reports and presentations on publicity activities.
- Compile and analyze EMEA phone interview data.
- Work with the team coordinator and intern on finance, travel, and logistics.
- Liaise with Publicity and Creative teams on junket assets, materials, and visual elements.
Basic Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience in international publicity or entertainment industry
- Experience coordinating events and managing logistics
