Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Employee Services, the ERP Systems and Data Integrity Officer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of human resources (HR) data within the Library of Parliament’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The role plays a key quality assurance function by processing HR data, conducting audits, resolving data integrity issues, and recommending improvements to ERP functionalities and processes.
The incumbent performs the following duties:
- Maintain and process HR data in the ERP system to ensure accurate and timely tracking, reporting, and decision-making across the organization.
- Conduct regular data quality checks and audits, resolving issues identified in integrity reports and ensuring compliance with policies and collective agreements.
- Develop and update procedures for data entry and validation and provide guidance to HR team members to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Recommend and support improvements to ERP functionalities and automation to enhance data capture, system usability, and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, Finance, and the ERP support team, to troubleshoot issues, clarify data requirements, and implement system enhancements.
Qualifications
Education:
- An acceptable combination of post-secondary education, training and relevant experience.
Experience:
- Experience using an HR information management system.
- Experience providing administrative support in a human resources environment
- Experience responding to enquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Experience using MS Office applications, including MS Word, and preparing reports using MS Excel

Asset Criteria:
- Education/Training in the management of data in an HR system.
- Experience in maintaining and processing HR data in a HR system.
- Experience in conducting data quality checks and audits in a HR system.
Conditions of Employment:
- A second-language evaluation (Bilingual staffing – imperative): CBC.
- A successful pre-employment security screening.

Education and experience requirements will be used to determine which candidates will be asked to participate in the next stage of the selection process.
This selection process may include a second-language evaluation, a written exam, and an interview. The interview will consist of behavioural, situational and knowledge-based questions. Candidates will be required to pass each stage in order to move to the next stage of the selection process.
Qualified candidates from this selection process may be considered for determinate or indeterminate positions at the Library of Parliament that require similar knowledge and/or competencies.
