About Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (PACS):At PACS, we are committed to giving peace of mind to our customers by offering health solutions that give customers help when they need it most. Our Health team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of health propositions in Singapore. We are now looking for a strategic and collaborative Product and Proposition Senior Manager to lead the development of “Just Right” health products that meet the diverse needs of our customers in Singapore.
Role Purpose:
This role will be instrumental in co-creating health product propositions for PACS business joined with Prudential Group Health team and building a high-performing health product ecosystem that delivers safe, sustainable, and commercially attractive health solutions. The successful candidate will also lead the product lifecycle, from ideation to in-life performance, and build a Center of Excellence (CoE) to scale best practices across Singapore health product market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Innovation & Co-Creation
- To design, partner with cross functional teams at PACS and launch Health-led propositions, ensuring alignment with PACS strategic vision.
- Co-create “Just Right” products that are easy to understand, tailored to different customer segments, and offer the right coverage at the right price.
- Ensure product designs embed sustainability features and align with the “Fight for Fair Prices” agenda.
2. Product Lifecycle Management
- Co-own and manage the end-to-end health product pipeline along with PACS product leads, from concept through development, launch, and in-life management.
- Monitor product performance using data and analytics to optimize outcomes, improve persistency, and inform future enhancements.
3. Center of Excellence Leadership
- Build a high-performing Proposition CoE for product and other teams across PACS, to share insights, best practices, and innovative ideas on a regular basis.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, enabling PACS to scale successful health product strategies efficiently.
4. Strategic Alignment & Governance
- Ensure all product development activities comply with PACS governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks, including working closely with Group Health Actuarial and the Group Product Approval Committee (GPAC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical Excellence, Underwriting, Sales Enablement and Marketing to ensure product readiness and market fit.
5. Customer-Centric Design
- Leverage customer insights, ethnographic research, and behavioral data to design products that resonate with real customer needs and life stages.
- Support the Peace of Mind strategy by ensuring products are relevant, trusted, and empower agents to deliver value at every touchpoint.
Who are we looking for:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field; Actuarial background or Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or proposition development, ideally within health insurance or life insurance.
- Proven ability to lead cross-market health product initiatives and manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and experience in performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit.
