Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Information Technologies Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing workstation and server deployment, including the installation of applications/software and the setup/movement of hardware. Responsibilities include ability to configure, implement, maintain, and support applications/software with other internal IT staff and third-party consultants. The role is in the Boston office but may require travel. This position will report directly to the Managing Director IT. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft and Linux Server Systems
• Managing deployment of Meraki networking equipment
• Hybrid on-prem and cloud backend infrastructure including Vmware, Azure, and AWS
• Managing and maintaining proper licensing for auditing and compliance
• Assist with technical project planning and technical due diligence for M&A activity
• Act as an escalation point for junior technical staff
• Audit the SOCOTEC USA Cyber Security standard deployments
• Hardware, software, and infrastructure investment lifecycle management
• Facility Teams VOIP deployment for a national platform
• Identify cost savings opportunities across software, hardware, consultants, and vendors
• Manage third party vendor agreements and contracts
• Assist in purchasing, procurement, and expense reporting
• Streamline onboarding, offboarding, and hardware deployments activity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience +5-8 years of demonstrated experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Cloud based infrastructures.
• Must be able to supply 3 technical references. Background check required.
