  • Define, prioritize, and deliver the roadmap for core design system components, patterns, guidelines, and infrastructure, in alignment with product and brand strategies.
  • Champion design system adoption—evangelize its value, onboard teams, and facilitate knowledge sharing to enable efficient and consistent execution across products.
  • Lead discovery and validation efforts, leveraging user feedback, usability studies, and data to inform and iterate upon the design system’s features and documentation.
  • Establish and track key program metrics (e.g., component adoption, release velocity, user satisfaction, system health) to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with GTM, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams as needed to support product launches and promote the value and usage of the design system.
  • Foster an inclusive design culture by embedding accessibility, user-centricity, and scalability into all aspects of the system.
  • Represent the “voice of the customer” (both internal and external) to ensure the design system delivers measurable value and supports BILL’s broader business goals.
