The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing efforts across all paid and organic digital media platforms including but not limited to Google (Google Ads and Organic Search), LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Reddit. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on coordination, with a strong passion for digital innovation and data-driven results.
Essential Job Duties:
Organic Social Media:•Help execute GoNetspeed’s social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification •Develop and manage the content calendar for social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)•Manage day-to-day posting, community engagement, and conversations across social channels.•Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, human resources, sales, outside plant staff etc.) to manage brand reputation, identify key players, and coordinate content and messaging.•Monitor trends, community engagement, and performance analytics to refine content strategy and report insights to the leadership team on a regular basis. •Attend company-related community and internal events to collect content (work with the creative team to develop graphics, videos, and reels tailored for social platforms).
Paid Digital Advertising:•Assist in planning and coordination of campaigns across Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), Paid Search (Google Ads), and Display marketing channels•Manage creative assets, audience targeting, and A/B testing•Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations to improve ROI•Collaborate with creative team and agency to develop high-performing ad creatives, messaging and calls to action
SEO & Content Strategy:•Conduct keyword research and SEO audits to identify content opportunities•Create or collaborate on blog posts, landing pages, and web content to drive organic traffic•Optimize existing content for SEO and user experience•Track rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics to inform strategy

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite, Sprout and HubSpot.•Skilled in campaign optimization on Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok Ads, including copywriting, headline development, and tracking implementation.•Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing and content strategy.•Proficiency creating content in Wordpress.•Strong writing and communication skills.•Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.•Data-driven mindset with a passion for testing and performance optimization.•Proven track record of successfully coordinating and optimizing digital marketing campaigns.•Experience in managing agencies and external marketing partners.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field•5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with hands-on experience managing both organic and paid campaigns. •Experience in the fiber Internet, telecom, or tech industry preferred.
