Freelance Arabic Annotators

Work Location: Remote/Work from home 

Engagement Model: Freelancer/Independent contractor 

Language Needed: Arabic  

Engagement duration: approx. 2 weeks 

Expected workload: min. 20 hours/ week 

Compensation model: fixed fee (see detail bellow) 

Estimated start: 9th of July 2025 

 

DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for Arabic speakers with great attention to detail and ability to multitask to join our new remote Audio Annotation project Zaatar.   

 

Your task as an Annotator will be annotation of Arabic speech data (either 1000 or 5000 audios) collected from native and non-native Arabic speakers, following guidelines that will be provided to you. Ys.

Requirements

ole Requirements: 

• Idiomatic fluency in Arabic  

• Advanced English 

• Complete and pass short qualification test 

• Good and reliable internet connection 

• Ability to interpret and follow detailed guidelines 

• Attention to detail 

• Prior experience with annotation or similar projects is a plus 

• Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively 

 

 

Compensation model: 

• If you work on a set of 1000 audios, the compensation is a fixed fee of 150 USD. We estimate it should take you approx. 17 hours to complete the whole set of 1000 audios.  

• If you work on a set of 5000 audios, the compensation is a fixed fee of 750 USD. We estimate it should take you approx. 83 hours to complete the whole set of 5000 audios.  

 

Please note that the final assignment of what set of data you will work on depends on the project needs and is decided by the project team.
