Description:
This is a full-time salaried role with a Monday-Friday schedule, 8-5pm EST, with a rotating late day once a week to support late staff until 7pm.

Summary:
The Central Intake Supervisor leads the Care Navigator team, responsible for supporting benefits verification, referral source communication, scheduling, and client engagement. This role ensures the intake pipeline runs smoothly, inbound inquiries are addressed promptly, and referrals are appropriately managed. The Supervisor is responsible for coaching, developing, and evaluating team members to achieve key performance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Intake Specialists responsible for scheduling, benefits verification, referral source outreach, and clinician support.
- Oversee inbound and outbound referral management, ensuring clients are placed appropriately across the continuum of care.
- Monitor performance against key intake metrics, including phone answer rate, QA, confirmed vs. scheduled, and completed vs. scheduled.
- Collaborate with Clinical Outreach teams to strengthen provider relationships and improve referral accuracy.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement improvement plans where needed.
- Partner with leadership to refine intake workflows and align with business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy, and internal quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of intake, scheduling, or referral management experience; 2+ years in leadership preferred.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume intake operations.
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in monitoring dashboards and team performance.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a centralized call center or virtual care setting.
- Familiarity with acute mental health services or care coordination.
- Experience training or mentoring peers in a healthcare or customer-facing role.
- Exposure to workforce management, quality assurance, or operational coordination in a clinical intake setting.
