The team
You will be joining the Marketing department. The department consists of multiple teams focused on driving growth to the platform through omnichannel marketing and rapid experimentation.
The teams are responsible for various domains: Content, Public Relations, SEO, ASO, Performance Marketing, Partnerships, Email Marketing & CRM, and Product Marketing.
The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior SEA Specialist to take ownership of our large-scale paid search operations. You will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of our global SEA campaigns across multiple platforms, with a primary focus on Google Ads.
You will manage significant six-figure monthly budgets per account, with the primary goal of maximizing return on ad spend and driving profitable customer growth. You will be the go-to expert for A/B testing, conversion tracking, and performance analysis, working closely with our SEO, Data, and Product teams to ensure an integrated and dominant search presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and scale complex, large-scale SEA campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and any search engine ad platform.
- Autonomously manage and allocate substantial monthly budgets (exceeding €100,000 per account) to achieve ambitious growth and efficiency targets.
- Design and implement a continuous, rigorous A/B testing roadmap for ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and new platform features.
- Own the end-to-end conversion tracking setup. Ensure data accuracy and robustness using, server-side tagging, and Enhanced Conversions to capture the full value of our campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Create and present clear, actionable reports and dashboards for key stakeholders, focusing on core KPIs.
- Act as a strategic partner to the SEO team to identify keyword gaps, capitalize on market trends, and maximize our total search footprint. Collaborate with product teams to optimize user funnels and landing page conversion rates.
- Stay at the forefront of the paid search landscape. Proactively test new betas, tools, and strategies to improve campaign efficiency and scale.
Your profile
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated SEA role.
- Budget Management: Proven, demonstrable experience managing multiple Google Ads accounts with monthly budgets of at least €100,000 per account (or €1M+ annually).
- Industry Background: Must have experience in a fast-paced, high-volume industry heavily reliant on Google search (e.g., online travel agencies, classifieds/marketplaces, price comparison sites, or large-scale e-commerce).
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, analytics tools like Mixpanel and Rockerbox.
- Testing Expertise: A deep and practical understanding of statistical A/B testing principles and a portfolio of successful experiments you have personally designed and executed.
- Tracking Expertise: In-depth knowledge of advanced conversion tracking methodologies, including Enhanced Conversions, offline conversion imports, and the principles of server-side tagging.
- Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical and data-driven. You are comfortable manipulating large datasets in Google Sheets or Excel to uncover insights and build performance models.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You can clearly articulate complex strategies and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
