The Role
Our creative team thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling - crafting scalable systems and experiences that empower teams across the company. We’re looking for a Design Systems & Production Designer to join our growing team and help us scale the tools and workflows that power our creative output.
This role sits at the heart of our creative operations - part systems designer, part workflow optimizer, part technical problem-solver. You’ll own the governance and growth of our creative tools (like Brandfolder and Figma), making sure they’re set up to scale across marketing, publishing, and design teams. You’ll collaborate with designers, marketers, and engineers to streamline processes, reduce bottlenecks, and bring operational excellence to how we deliver creative at Nex.
This is a highly collaborative role, reporting into the Creative Director, and working closely with Marketing Operations, Design, and cross-functional partners.
What You'll Do
- Design Systems in Figma: Build, refine, and maintain scalable component libraries, templates, and shared resources that support high-volume digital creative needs (banner systems, email templates, modular layouts).
- Brandfolder Governance: Manage taxonomy, tagging, and permissions so assets stay organized, searchable, and easy for teams to use.
- Production Design: Deliver marketing assets - banners, emails, landing pages, and more - while building systems that make this work faster and more consistent over time.
- Creative Ops Support: Partner with Creative Director and Marketing Ops to connect tools (Figma, Brandfolder, project management platforms) and streamline workflows across teams.
- Creative Guides & Resources: Develop clear guides and resources that empower teammates to use systems effectively and keep creative output consistent.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in design operations, creative technology, or production design roles.
- Strong fluency in Figma and digital asset management platforms (Brandfolder experience a plus).
- Familiarity with marketing/creative production workflows across digital, social, and campaign environments.
- Systems thinker who enjoys building processes, documentation, and repeatable solutions.
- Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills - you can work across creative, marketing, and technical teams.
- Comfortable balancing detail-oriented execution with big-picture operational strategy.
Bonus Point
- Experience with automation or workflow integrations (Asana, Jira, Notion, etc.).
- Background in design (visual, UX, or brand) with a strong eye for scalable systems.
- Familiarity with publishing, gaming, or entertainment industries.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Be part of a fast-growing team shaping the future of play.
- Collaborate with passionate creatives, marketers, and technologists.
- Help define how creative operations scale at a global company.
We Offer
- Competitive compensation package.
- Flexible working hours and vacation policy.
- Product-driven culture that treasures talents and individual growth.
- Front-row seat and hands-on experience with cutting edge technologies in the evolving gaming field
