Key Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

• Educate project participants and stakeholders on climate change, local adaptation strategies, and community resilience to environmental changes.
• Work closely with government bodies, private sector, donors, and internal departments to ensure project alignment and timely deliverables.
• Design, implement, and monitor climate-resilient interventions that meet project, donor (e.g., GAC), and grant compliance standards.
• Track progress, document evidence, identify best practices, and support success story development to enhance learning and impact across the project.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Studies, Agriculture or similar field.
• Four (4) years of experience in the development sector with detailed knowledge in climate change adaptation and climate action programming and related practical implementations.
• Capacity to develop training modules and conduct trainings to change the behaviour and attitude among the climate vulnerable communities.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills with project stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil.
