Ocean Fulfillment Lead

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Ocean fulfilment team in Panama. Team is responsible for management Own (Plan and manage) all aspects related to Customers promises and assets in a specific service scope, including container flows (empty and laden) and vessel scheduling activities.

 The Ocean fulfilment lead is responsible for on-time delivery of customers’ goods through optimal schedule and cargo planning. The role bridges commercial pursuits with operational efficiency, process excellence and low cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain service delivery focus and ensure we deliver what we sold to our customers at the lowest possible cost.
• Responsible for optimizing network assets as well as externally procured capacity where appropriate within geographical scope.
• Manage Scheduling, Berth window planning & Proforma Management along with Bunker and port productivity efficiency.
• Monitor bookings and optimize space by adjusting allocation between load ports (rolling, rerouting) in conjunction with Market colleagues including both laden and empty flow and strive for high utilization across all services through forecast accuracy and downfall analysis.
• Participate and coordinate new deployments and optimization opportunities with Network and Marketing leads to underpin customer experience and network efficiency.
• Own and manage contingencies related to container operations, minimize end-to-end service delivery impact during contingency handling.
• Supports execution of empty flow plan within network by coordinating closely with equipment managers.
• Identify and suggest continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for

• Advanced English level (written, speaking and listening)
• The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree from a reputable education facility. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the industry.
• Able to work autonomously and take calculated and independent decisions under high-pressure scenarios.
• Candidate should have good time management skills and ability to priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines with flexible attitude to working hours.
• Possess high sense of urgency and ability to manage ambiguity.
• Display Ownership & Accountability.
• Someone who is Enthusiastic, energetic and an effective team player.
• Excellent communicator who is able to interact with and convey ideas to cross-cultural teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Data and cost driven
• Schedule management is a plus
