Senior Category Manager

Job Description:

The Senior Category Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for sourcing and distribution of operating supplies, equipment, furniture and services for Dave & Buster’s and Main Event. Total spend is approximately $150 million delivered to over 225 stores (and growing!). This position reports to the Senior Director, Supply Chain & Indirect.

Nitty Gritty Details:

• Responsible for  aspects of operating supplies, equipment, and services for approximately $150 million in total spend
• Collaborate with partners to ensure product is distributed successfully to 225+ stores
• Partners with the Culinary, Construction and Operations teams to identify and source products
• Issues and evaluates RFPs to obtain products at cost-effective prices
• Proactively looks for ways to become more efficient and effective
• Manages a team of three direct reports
• Ensures purchasing-related system responsibilities are done accurately and efficiently
• The ever popular all other duties as assigned
• Collaborates with:
• Store management to understand and resolve issues
• Partner companies to get requisite work done in an effective and efficient way
• The Culinary, Construction, and Operations teams to bring creations to life
• The Supply Chain team to achieve department goals

Education, Experience, Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience encompassing operating supplies and equipment purchasing and distribution
• Strong understanding of OS&E products
• Established relationships with major OS&E partners
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and Access
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Potential for some travel
• Reports to the Senior Director, Supply Chain & Indirect
