About the role.

As a Claims Intern at PURE, you will play a vital role in supporting our Claims Department and delivering value to our members. The internship offers you the opportunity to work closely with the Claims Home Office Vendor Management and Claims Delivery teams on crucial projects that directly impact our Service Provider network and internal operations.

Our structured internship program follows a 90/10 approach: 90% of your time will be dedicated to hands-on tasks and projects within your assigned work area, while the remaining 10% will immerse you in learning experiences across other areas of the company, including valuable exposure to Senior Claims Leadership.

What you'll do.

Work directly on process improvements for Medicare Compliance, ensuring our operations adhere to regulatory standards.
Collaborate with the Vendor Management team to perform data entry, data clean-up, and other related tasks to support the integrity and efficiency of our Service Provider network.
Contribute to the generation and analysis of SIU trigger reports, supporting the Special Investigations Unit’s efforts.
Engage with the Claims Delivery team on project-based assignments and operational tasks that drive department goals.
Interact and build relationships with adjusters, managers, leaders, and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration and professional growth.

Current full-time college student (junior or senior standing preferred).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a natural intellectual curiosity to investigate issues, develop compelling narratives, and propose effective solutions.
Capacity to work independently, follow through on assignments, and consistently meet project deadlines.
Willingness and ability to collaborate with claims leaders, adjusters, and partners to achieve optimal outcomes.
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience leveraging it for data analysis and reporting.

The base salary for this role can range from $30,000 to $411,667 based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience
