Salary – National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £72,100 to £100,000 and London from £80,000 to £110,000 (salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for the change and run of the FCA’s end user local (building) networks, WiFi, wide area networks (SDWAN), security capabilities, internet proxy and other SASE services. You will work with high profile programs of works to introduce new services and has responsibility for the product roadmap and technical debt management for the platforms and systems.
You will be responsible for supporting the Product Group Manager in strategic planning of team resources, prioritisation, governance and spend management. Expect to:
Lead the delivery of change and operational services for complex, high-impact products within the Security and Networks domain of End User Computing (EUC), ensuring smooth transitions and reliable service outcomes
Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate resources, costs, and timelines for product changes, shaping prioritization and feeding into strategic project planning across the portfolio
Drive agile and DevOps-based delivery of technical and service solutions, ensuring all requirements meet agreed acceptance criteria and deliver measurable value
Manage product budgets and oversee financial recharging to sponsoring projects. Provide leadership and coaching to both direct and matrixed teams, fostering technical and service excellence
Set and monitor performance against key metrics, ensuring transparency through governance channels and implementing corrective actions where needed
Own the strategic roadmap for core products, including governance, financial planning, delivery strategy and risk management to support long-term success

Minimum
Experience in network infrastructure product or programme management, with experience overseeing the security and integrity of network infrastructure supporting local services
Experienced in architecture or systems design with a solid understanding of networking infrastructure and its practical applications
Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex IT products, particularly within networking, security and Cloud technologies, while nurturing a culture of shared success
Essential
Strong background in fostering supplier relationships and managing procurement, with a collaborative approach to maintaining business-as-usual operations and introducing new services
Experience guiding the full lifecycle of IT services, with a focus on thoughtful planning, seamless transitions, and continuous improvement to meet evolving business needs
Proficient in managing budgets and forecasting with accuracy, ensuring transparency and accountability across operational and maintenance spend
Adept at building consensus and communicating effectively at all levels, translating technical challenges into clear business impacts and guiding resolution with empathy and clarity
