Primarily remote role with regular rounding and time in clinics across area of responsibility

Pay Range

$85.00 - $136.00

Major Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for developing the strategic direction for Employer Services. As the subject matter expert, stays current with marketplace trends and ensures strategies align with division and enterprise strategies.  
  • Creates an operating framework to execute on the strategic plans. Leverages organizational design expertise to assure timely execution of these plans. Continually assesses for adjustments to enhance performance.  
  • Provides strong leadership in support of teammate and clinician engagement to achieve strategic and operating goals. Identifies talent and builds effective teams to optimize performance.  
  • In partnership with multiple stakeholders from across the enterprise, develops plans to achieve strategic direction.    
  • Accountable for integrating enterprise and divisional initiatives into the strategic direction, including but not limited to safety, quality, financial performance, engagement, patient experience.  Requires thorough understanding of systemwide initiatives and translating relevant areas into actionable steps for the areas of accountability.  
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agency standards for facilities operations, construction, and safety practices across areas of accountability. 
  • Designs and directs the work of the assigned area(s) of responsibility. Selects, coaches, and develops teams, setting objectives that align with organizational strategy to inspire and motivate the teams. Manages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning, and development. Designs and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered, and performance is systematically improved. 
  • Develops and/or recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives. 
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that people actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the organization's business.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or a Clinical Degree (Advanced Practice Professional, Allied Health or related).

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, including at least 5 years of leadership, including operational responsibilities in a healthcare system.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare, including current market conditions and future trends.  
  • Proven and experience people leader, able to manage large geographically dispersed teams successfully.  
  • Knowledge of the structure and operations of an integrated health care system.  
  • Knowledge of business and management practices to advance multiple unique business lines serving a diverse population and achieve set goals.  
  • Ability to successfully engage business units and functions beyond own area of responsibilities to accomplish defined results.  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement strategic and tactical plans to meet business objectives in a large health care system.  
  • Proven experience of growth and positive financial results in healthcare.  
  • Excellent presentation, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. Outstanding project management skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This position requires travel throughout our IL and WI footprint, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.  

 

Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
