In this role, you’ll provide essential direct care and support to clients in a therapeutic residential environment. You will monitor vital signs, supervise medication administration, facilitate activities, assist with daily living needs, and help maintain a safe and supportive space for those in recovery. Your contributions will play a key role in improving client outcomes, supporting treatment plans, and ensuring a dignified care experience.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide compassionate care and direct support to clients in a residential behavioral health setting
· Facilitate group education, structured activities, and recovery skill sessions
· Assist clients with daily living tasks, including grooming, bathing, and dressing when needed
· Monitor and record vital signs, and recognize when escalation to medical personnel is necessary
· Support medication administration per policy and training certifications
· Document client behavior, activities, and progress in a timely and accurate manner
· Encourage adherence to program expectations using trauma-informed care principles
· Transport clients to appointments as needed
· Assist with admissions, discharges, and orientation processes
· Support crisis response and safety procedures according to established protocols
· Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and treatment planning sessions
· Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in compliance with agency standards

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required, with two (2) years of responsible employment
· Experience in Human Services or a related field preferred
· For St. Louis County Programs: Bachelor’s Degree OR MAADC I or II accepted
· For Residential Care Facility (RCF): Must become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and be Insulin Certified within the first ninety (90) days in position
· Exceptions to listed qualifications may be approved by the appropriate Executive Team member

Additional Qualifications:
· Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle
· Must be at least 23 years of age to operate a 15-passenger company-owned van
· Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required
· Must successfully complete background, fingerprint, abuse/neglect, and driving record checks
· First Aid and CPR certification required within 3 months of hire and must be kept current
· Must complete Behavioral Management training within 30 days of hire (CPI or Crisis Management)
· Must complete 40 hours of related training annually (per 9 CSR 10-7.110 E 1)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to establish rapport while maintaining appropriate boundaries
· Basic keyboarding and electronic medical record navigation skills required

Physical Requirements:
· Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to move objects, including the human body
· Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing or writing
· Sitting for most of the shift with occasional walking or standing
