Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

As a Production Supervisor at Donaldson Company, you will not only play a part in the production air filtration system products for the Harrisonville plant, but also engage with production operators in process improvements. Each day within manufacturing provides chances to learn and grow professionally as the business expands. This role is based out of Harrisonville, MO and would require this individual to be on site regularly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Planning, assigning and directing all production work.

• Develops production teams to support consensus forecast

• Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training of all production staff.

• Assures compliance with all standards, regulations, policies and good manufacturing practices.

• Responsible for ensuring ongoing utilization of Donaldson DPS strategies.

• Management of stock and materials including stock takes and validating discrepancies.

• Leading, managing and coaching a team.

• Coaching and mentoring all production employees.

• Ensures that the orientation and training of new and existing employees is completed.

• Management of employee relations issues and assists in disciplinary outcomes as and when required.

• Drives engagement and maintains good morale in the workplace and facilitates interchange of ideas on policies and attitudes between employees and management.

• Conducts Leading Hand Team meetings as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of working in a manufacturing and/or assembly environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Production leadership experience

• Lean manufacturing or six sigma experience

• Associate’s degree preferred

• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems
