Your Role at Delta Faucet
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Technology Leader to drive operational excellence through infrastructure and operational technology (OT) solutions within our manufacturing and distribution environments. This role will act as a key liaison between plant operations and IS (Information Systems), responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining infrastructure technologies that enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and associate experience on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with plant operations stakeholders and IS teams to identify, design, and deliver infrastructure solutions that create tangible business value.
- Evaluate and implement new OT and IT infrastructure technologies to optimize plant operations.
- Design and deploy critical technologies including printing systems, endpoint device management, tablets, scanners, and related applications.
- Ensure seamless integration of new infrastructure solutions with existing systems and processes.
- Sustain and continuously improve infrastructure platforms through maintenance and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to minimize operational disruptions.
- Implement best practices in infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization to ensure high performance and minimal downtime.
- Support development of business cases, ROI analyses, and value realization strategies for proposed solutions.
- Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing and OT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant operations, infrastructure management, or a closely related role.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience leading an IT team.
- Proven experience designing and deploying infrastructure solutions in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes and associated technologies.
- Experience with:
- PLC and shop floor technology/data collection systems
- MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Labeling solutions
- Endpoint device management systems
- Printing systems, tablets, and scanners
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Exposure to IoT and smart manufacturing technologies.
