COMPENSATION: $60,000- $70,000 annually + 10% Bonus Opportunity!

PURPOSE
The New Club Operations Project Manager is responsible for supporting and collaborating with all support teams to ensure the New Club timelines stay on track. They are continually assessing the projects to ensure that we will meet daily and weekly goals to stay on track for NCO opening dates, , and plans. The NCOM assures that the operations team stays on track to hire, train, and get the new club ready through the Entire New Club Opening Experience.
DELIVERABLES
On-Time Delivery: Ensure all club openings are completed on schedule, including the timely delivery of all necessary resources, equipment, and personnel, by coordinating with all departments and vendors to stay aligned on timelines.
Recruiting & Training: Oversee the recruitment process for new clubs, ensuring that all recruitment milestones and timelines are met. Collaborate with the hiring team to ensure roles are filled on time, allowing for a smooth staffing process ahead of the club opening. Collaborate with training teams to ensure all new hires receive comprehensive training and are fully prepared to deliver exceptional service on opening day.
Execution of Operational Plans: Lead the execution of detailed operational plans for the opening, ensuring that all steps--such as staffing, inventory, setup, and compliance--are completed effectively and efficiently.
Budget Management: Oversee and manage the financial plans for each new club opening, ensuring the project stays within budget. Track expenses across categories such as travel, labor, and equipment, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Vendor & Delivery Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors to guarantee that installations meet the required standards.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, HR, IT, and construction to ensure smooth pre-opening and post-launch processes, resolving any issues promptly to maintain the opening schedule.
Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the opening process, monitor the progress against goals, and adjust resources and strategies as needed to maintain timelines and budgets.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management: Maintain high operational standards and identify potential risks that could impact the project. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the project remains on track.
Handover & Post-Launch Support: Ensure a smooth transition from the opening team to ongoing management, providing follow-up support during the first 90 days to address any operational adjustments.
Build Strong Relationships: Foster collaboration and unity among internal teams and external partners to ensure trust, effective communication, and a positive working environment throughout the opening process.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on new club openings, construction, or facility operations.
- Experience in the fitness, hospitality, or retail industries is highly preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, budgeting, and financial management.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, including handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Expertise in using project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar) to track progress, timelines, and budgets.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Must be self-motivated with a high degree of ownership, sense of urgency and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primary work in a fitness facility and office setting. Temperature variations can occur. The environment includes some ambient noise such as talking and use of gym equipment and machinery.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Strength & Endurance: This is a non-sedentary position, requiring standing and walking for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds, particularly during the setup and installation of equipment and fixtures.
- Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to address various variables and adapt to changing conditions with limited standardization. This includes interpreting and relaying operational instructions and project details to different teams, ensuring alignment with the club opening strategy.
- Attendance & Availability: Regular attendance is critical, as the role requires consistent, on-site presence during the opening phase of new clubs. Employees must work as scheduled to oversee operations, ensure execution of plans, and maintain team coordination.
- Travel Requirements: Must have the ability to travel frequently to new club locations to oversee the opening process and meet with key stakeholders. This includes regular overnight travel to ensure timely and successful execution of operational plans and site management.
- Flexible Scheduling: Must be comfortable with flexible hours and adaptable scheduling to meet project timelines, including occasional extended hours or weekend work depending on the demands of the opening process.
