Job Responsibilities
- Lead a team to provide strategic communications and media relations support for various business units, including but not limited to Sustainability, MICE, Human Resource, Hotel Operations and any other corporate functions of Marina Bay Sands.
- Develop the awards programme for Marina Bay Sands, with a view towards garnering reputable awards for the integrated resort across key business priorities.
- Develop the content curation of Marina Bay Sands’ LinkedIn and Tik Tok accounts.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop editorial calendars, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of content across various communications platforms.
- Assist in media spokesperson training for the company.
- Support media engagement in regional markets, working with the appointed PR agency (if any) to ensure deliverables are met.
- Drive the planning of media/influencer familiarisation trips for the company, including budgeting, content creation, and stakeholder management.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and milestone events that will enhance the corporate reputation of Marina Bay Sands.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, or related field.
Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience in a fast-paced environment
Other Prerequisites
- Excellent writing and communications abilities
- A creative self-starter who’s able to work independently and proactively
- Experience in leading teams
- Ability to focus, multi-task and accomplish objectives in a dynamic environment
- Strong communicator, with excellent written, verbal communication skills and a command in Mandarin would be an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of the media landscape, with regular exposure to international media
