Our GFL team is expanding, and we’re looking for a ServiceNow Architect to join us in Vaughan! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in will lead the ServiceNow journey and drive technology roadmap by collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders to translate requirements and ideas into sound technical solutions. You will also be providing administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support, utilizing best practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions on our ServiceNow platform.

A “Day in the Life" of a ServiceNow Architect:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define objectives, and assess the feasibility of ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs.

  • Configure and implement ServiceNow Discovery to create an accurate map of assets and applications, ensuring a foundation for data-driven decision-making.

  • Design and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and optimized functionality.

  • Provide high-level design specifications and architectural diagrams for ServiceNow implementations that align with organizational goals.

  • Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain development quality and consistency across teams.

  • Champion ServiceNow’s capabilities throughout the organization by communicating its value to executive stakeholders and aligning solutions with key business initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, hardware engineering, or relevant degree is preferred with 10 - 15 years' experience in developing for ServiceNow MID Server and managing update sets.

  • Proficient in creating and maintaining client scripts, business rules, UI actions, and UI policies.

  • Skilled in ServiceNow System Administration will be nice to have.

  • Expert-level knowledge of client and server APIs, with in-depth understanding of Service Management, Asset Management, and Strategic Portfolio Management processes.

  • Strong background in integrating ServiceNow will be preferred.
