We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer Node.js) to work on a social web and app platform for photographers of all skill levels. The project belongs to a portfolio of leading digital brands with a combined global user base of 44 million monthly active users.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using NestJS.
• Create and support core libraries for microservices.
• Evaluate systems architecture and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance in software design with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams including product, DevOps, and QA.
• Continuously monitor system performance and address bottlenecks.

Technologies - NodeJS, Nest.js, Redis, ScyllaDB, Elastic Search, MySQL, Docker, AWS EC2/ECS.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of practical backend experience in software development.
• Extensive knowledge of Node.js and server-side frameworks, with a preference for NestJS.
• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, including its nuances and solutions.
• Experience with scalable AWS application hosting, including EC2, ECS, S3, and SQS.
• Solid understanding of database schemas (Scylla/Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Strong skills in designing and implementing Rest APIs.
• Good grasp of scalability and performance factors.

Salary:

• For employees: 5500 EUR to 6600 EUR monthly (gross).
• For contractors: 36 EUR to 42 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
