Position Summary

Senior Solutions Delivery Expert – SAP Security & GRC is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting various SAP security and GRC requirements. The role will deliver business value through various projects, application maintenance activities, continuous improvements, and innovations. Individual will solve problems requiring constant adaption and new solutions by synthesis and innovative thinking. As experienced qualified technology expert, individual will be part of a Global Team and will work with SAP Functional team, Business Solutions Owners team to deliver and continuously improve the high standards of application developments services for our global business stakeholders. The individual will have strong experience in SAP Security and GRC area.

Job Objective

Senior Solutions Delivery Expert – SAP Security & GRC is individual contributor role responsible for architecture, design, delivery and supporting SAP security requirements and GRC functional requirements for all company functions and various SAP applications. Individual will work with business and functional teams to translate requirements in appropriate solution, define and design job roles and security schema, breakdown the technical work package, estimate and develop plan for its delivery, develop, conduct appropriate quality reviews, test and document the solution as well as troubleshoot support incidents when needed. Individual will demonstrate technology thought leadership on bringing best in class security standards and practices by creating scalable, reusable, maintainable solutions. As a senior person in the team, individual will guide and mentor junior team members on end-to-end solution and delivery process with knowledge of functional processes and best practices.

Job responsibilities

• Deliver security solutions by driving technical requirement gathering, defining solution architecture, estimation and planning, implementation approach recommendations, blueprinting, detail designing, development, solution demos, comprehensive reviews, various types of testing, defect resolutions, various technical documentations etc. working with functional teams and project managers for different types, sizes and complexities of projects, enhancements, changes, and incidents.
• Commit and Deliver business value through various types of projects e.g. Upgrades, Cloud Migrations, S4 HANA Template Design and Deployments, roll-outs of new capabilities, Enhancements to existing functionalities etc. and maintenance troubleshooting with the team.
• Troubleshoot incidents by analysis, debugging, SAP security solution provisioning, user management, role management, SAP research, modifications and implementation of appropriate solutions in timely manner to avoid adverse business impact.
• SAP Security solution management: Develop, implement, and maintain SAP security policies, procedures, and controls. Administer user access, roles, and authorizations in line with policies and procedure to ensure a secure and compliant SAP environment.
• GRC Solution Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement SAP GRC solutions, including Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management modules. Align GRC initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Security Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and participate and prepare for audits of SAP systems to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks. Address audit findings and implement wholistic corrective actions.
• Security Incident Response: Stay up to date with security updates from SAP. Monitor and respond to SAP security incidents, conduct root cause analysis and implement security improvements. Identify relevant patching requirements. Plan, implement and report on the security patching status. Work proactively to enhance the overall security posture of SAP landscapes.
• Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP security measures into the broader enterprise security framework. Provide guidance and training to end-users on SAP security best practices.
• Demonstrate technology thought leadership and experimental mindset to learn security scope for new SAP applications and implement it accordingly.
• Drive Operational Excellence by taking initiatives for process improvements, team development activities, contributing to recruitment process tasks, knowledge sharing etc. Drive problem management and continuous improvement
• Drive FUE optimization by adjusting security roles and schema to meet security requirements as well as help the organization to reduce the cost of SAP licensing.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• Good understanding of SAP standard functional processes for SAP modules like PP, PP-PI, IBP, SD, LE, MM, WM, EWM, FI, CO for manufacturing industry and B2B company to be able to deliver right SAP Security solution across these functions.
• 10+ years of experienced as holistic Integration development expert in designing and developing SAP security and GRC solution in SAP S4, SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java Stack environments.
• Well round experience and strong in-depth knowledge of SAP security and GRC topics
  • Strong understanding of SAP user management, roles and authorization management
  • Good understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SoX and ability to align GRC solution to its requirements.
  • Knowledge of IAS, IPS, SSO Solutions
• Desired experience in managing security requirements for Fiori apps, CDS Access control and BTP security.
• Hands-on experience in executing large End-to-End Implementations, SAP S4 deployments.
• Experience with business requirements gathering process, technical analysis, solution/design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation of customizations within the SAP environment.
• Strong experience in technical troubleshooting and debugging skills. Experienced in working with various product teams to create tickets, research material/notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
• Experience in managing vendors and driving collaboration with external 3rd parties to deliver multi-party impacted solutions keeping GGH objectives as driver.
• Ability to articulate and resolve timelines for various implementation and cutover activities, serving as technical point and SME for any integration solutions.
• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay on top of current trends and technical advancements as well as successfully experiment and realize them for organizations.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively. Ability to build credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuous professional learning of SAP products.
• Experienced on delivering work using Agile, waterfall methodologies. Has good knowledge of how to operate in Agile, Scrum, SAFe setups.
• Highly proactive, self-organized, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good written/verbal communications in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team focusing on GGH business objectives with strong collaboration spirit.
• SAP development, ITIL, TOGAF, Six Sigma, PMP, SAFe certifications desired but not mandatory

Work Timing & Location

Office – Pune, India. Current Flexible office presence policy – 3 days/week, 2 day WFH

• Typical Working Hours – Any 8 hours between 10.30 AM to 9:30 PM IST. Operational on call availability subject to incidents/priorities
• Travel – subject to key projects, usually less than 2 weeks
