We are looking for a highly motivated AI Insights Specialist to join our AI Core Team at Sunrise. In this junior-level position, you will design AI solutions, develop AI-powered applications that meet Sunrise’s business and technical requirements, including custom models when necessary and continuously scout state-of-the-art technologies to bring fresh experimentation and technical insight to the team.

You will work closely with AI Developers, Strategy Specialists, and business stakeholders to bring data-driven intelligence into AI use cases, from early PoCs to production-ready solutions.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Extract, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data to support model training, evaluation, and experimentation
• Run experiments to assess the feasibility and performance of AI solutions, iterating based on evaluation metrics and stakeholder feedback
• Develop and fine-tune AI models and solutions using Python and modern ML frameworks, ensuring reliability and scalability in proof-of-concept and production-ready systems
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and related technologies to identify opportunities for experimentation and innovation at Sunrise
• Work in cross-functional teams to contribute to AI use case design and feasibility validation

YOUR SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation (pandas, numpy, etc.)
• Understanding of core machine learning concepts, evaluation metrics, and model development workflows
• Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, including the use of out-of-the-box models and fine-tuning for domain-specific applications
• Hands-on experience with generative AI libraries and tools (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API) is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL and cloud environments (GCP or equivalent) is a plus
• Curious, proactive, and eager to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn and contribute across disciplines
