As a Reconciliation Services Operations Specialist III within JPMorganChase, you will be responsible for ensuring daily production and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are met. You will help delegate workflow, assist team members with complex issues, approve team member’s work, lead, motivate, and work with the supervisor on coaching team’s performance. You will be responsible for making routine and complex business decisions that have both customer and financial impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily workflow and delegate tasks to team members
- Provide training and necessary tools to ensure team success
- Assist in completing daily work to prevent losses due to absences or scheduling conflicts
- Conduct quality assessments and provide timely feedback to team members
- Monitor workflow and gather statistics for performance indicators
- Maintain accounts under clearing standards and ensure timely resolution of "aging" items
- Act as the first line of escalation for problems, identifying system issues and suggesting solutions
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Previous reconciliation experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate others
- Proficiency in PC and Microsoft suite of applications
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- High School diploma, some college, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of accounting/reconciliation concepts and account transaction workflow
- Previous banking center knowledge and management experience
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of related bank operations, reconciliation, or account experience preferred
