We’re seeking a skilled Social Media Community Engagement Specialist to spearhead our customer acquisition efforts through strategic Facebook group outreach. In this exciting role, you’ll be the bridge between our innovative AI marketing solution and potential customers who need it most. You’ll use your social media expertise to identify and authentically engage with prospects in online communities, helping us acquire our first 10-20 customers who will provide valuable feedback to shape our product development. This position offers the unique opportunity to be part of a startup’s foundational growth while working with cutting-edge AI marketing technology.
- Explore and identify high-value Facebook groups where potential customers actively discuss marketing challenges and seek expert solutions
- Engage authentically and meaningfully with community members through strategic comments and posts about marketing topics
- Identify qualified prospects who are actively seeking marketing assistance or expressing marketing-related pain points
- Create compelling, policy-compliant outreach messages that introduce our AI marketing solution in a natural, helpful way
- Guide interested prospects to our website for product exploration and testing opportunities
- Maintain strict adherence to Facebook community guidelines and policies, ensuring zero spamming practices
- Provide valuable feedback on prospect interactions and engagement quality to optimize our approach
- Support the strategic goal of acquiring 10-20 initial customers for crucial product feedback and development insights
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media community engagement, with particular expertise in Facebook group dynamics
- Deep understanding of Facebook policies, community guidelines, and best practices for authentic engagement
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to represent our brand professionally
- Demonstrated experience with authentic, relationship-building social media outreach techniques (no spam tactics)
- Strong understanding of marketing industry challenges and customer pain points
- Availability to work during US business hours for optimal engagement timing
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building genuine relationships within online communities
- Previous experience with lead generation through social media platforms is strongly preferred
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset with ability to work independently in a remote environment
