Job Highlights:- Contract type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Monday to Friday; 10 AM to 7 PM ET with 1-hour unpaid break
- 2% on all deals
- Accelerators after 500K-1M of revenue of 1%
- Above 1M million, additional 1%
- Uncapped commissions, accelerators are based on an annual basis
We’re looking for a results-oriented B2B Enterprise Sales specialist to lead our efforts in securing new commercial, state and government contracts. This role blends strategic sales expertise with operational oversight, including managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), driving outreach, and leveraging advanced AI tools for prospecting and lead generation. This role will report directly to the CEO, supporting all go to market initiatives and helping build out sales functions, including adopting new systems, sharing feedback, building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Own and Manage the end-to-end RFP process:
- Document preparation and consolidation
- General email and call related work
- Proactively identify and pursue new general contracting opportunities in commercial and government sectors
- Utilize cutting-edge AI tools and platforms for lead generation, qualification, and outbound outreach
- Drive B2B-level sales strategies and complex deal negotiations
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with operational capabilities
- Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and bidding requirements
- High volume calling and emailing to key prospects both in the government and commercial sectors
- Proven track record in sales in the construction, transportation, general contracting, or B2B and B2G (business-to-government) space
- Strong experience with enterprise selling, complex negotiations, and long sales cycles
- Natural “hunter” mentality with a strong drive to identify and close new opportunities
- Familiarity with modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Apollo, Lusha, Seamless.AI) for prospecting and outreach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling RFP documentation and contract workflows
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
