The Head of Quality – Product Innovation, Lifecycle & Release is responsible for implementing product quality strategy to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory standards. This role is a people management role which requires overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conception/development and throughout each product’s lifecycle
This role reports to a Director, Quality - Product Innovation, Lifecycle & Release and will be required to be work from either of our work sites in NSW – Warriewood (preferred) and Surry Hills at least 4 days a week in office and 1 day a week working from home.

Responsibilities include:
Leadership and Management: Implement the product quality strategic plan, lead and mentor the Product Innovation, Lifecycle team, fostering a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement to deliver a competitive edge for Blackmores.
Quality Standards: Oversee the development, implementation and robust processes and standards. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, TGA, safety standards and customer-specific requirements. Ensure the Product Innovation, Lifecycle teams are up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and evolving best practices.
Process Improvement & Risk Management: Drive the adoption of best practices in quality management and continuous improvement. Identify, assess and mitigate quality risks at each stage of the product lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate cohesively with key stakeholders, including Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance (PV), Quality Assurance, Product Development and Group Operations.
Who are you?
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Lifesciences, Biosciences.
- Possess at least five years of experience or more in people management experience in Quality with a proven record of leading teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated strong leadership capability with proven experience in driving a high performing team and agile culture.
- Strong knowledge of the Health Authority Organisations and Therapeutic Goods Act (TGA) guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of product quality management systems, risk management and industry standards from either complementary medicine, pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare or food manufacturing environment.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing quality control processes across diverse product categories
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly agile workplace.
