Job Description

As a Landscape Design Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing customers’ outdoor visions to life through stunning digital design presentations. Working closely with field sales teams, you’ll transform basic sketches and property photos into professional, compelling landscape designs that help homeowners visualize their dream gardens. This remote position offers the perfect blend of creative design work and horticultural knowledge, with the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction and business success. You’ll work with cutting-edge design software and comprehensive plant libraries while enjoying the flexibility of remote work and the stability of a long-term partnership.

Responsibilities:

• Receive photos and basic design sketches from field salespeople who have visited customer properties
• Clean up existing plant bed areas in photos and add new plant selections using photo editing software
• Create professional landscape design presentations using provided templates
• Ensure proper plant placement considering perspective, dimensions, and visual hierarchy in designs
• Collaborate with sales team to understand customer preferences and design requirements
• Maintain consistency in design quality and presentation standards across all projects
• Work with provided plant PNG files and learn company-specific plant selections and placement guidelines

Requirements:

• Experience with photo editing and design software, particularly Canva
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, perspective, and dimensional accuracy
• Ability to work with plant imagery and understand basic landscaping concepts
• Excellent attention to detail for creating professional presentations
• Ability to follow templates and guidelines while bringing creative input
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with sales team remotely
• Flexibility to work during US Eastern Time Zone hours
• Willingness to learn company-specific processes and plant selections
