About the Role:
The Wellington Retirement Residence is seeking a dedicated and reliable Prep Cook/Server to join our dining services team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and also takes pride in providing friendly, respectful service to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation under the direction of the Chef or Cook
• Serve meals to residents in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining area
• Follow food safety standards and hygiene protocols
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of resident satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or serving experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Food Handler Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
• Compassionate, team-oriented attitude and respect for seniors
