Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization—Oracle Health & AI—focused on product development and strategy to modernize and automate healthcare. We are building a next-generation platform designed with a bold, entrepreneurial spirit that fosters creativity, innovation, and engineering excellence. Within Oracle Health & AI, the Agentic Experience team is responsible for designing and delivering a suite of intelligent AI agents that automate workflows in clinical decision-making, patient engagement, and reimbursement operations. These agents integrate large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent orchestration, and deep healthcare domain knowledge to transform patient and provider experiences. We are looking for a hands-on, execution-focused Engineering Manager (M3) to lead a team of engineers and applied scientists building intelligent, production-grade AI agents. You will be responsible for technical execution, team building, roadmap delivery, and cross-functional alignment in this high-growth area. This is a unique opportunity to define and deliver AI-first systems that directly improve healthcare outcomes at scale.   Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on developing cloud-native AI agents for healthcare workflows.
  • Manage and drive activities across functional areas, including engineering, ML, and platform integration, to ensure cohesive and timely delivery.
  • Own delivery execution across multiple parallel projects—from ideation to deployment—balancing innovation, speed, and quality.
  • Partner with product managers, architects, and researchers to turn high-level product goals into scalable technical solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and engineering rigor while mentoring engineers and scientists on the team.
  • Execute operational planning, tracking OKRs, project milestones, and quality metrics for delivery accountability.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance where needed, especially in areas like LLM orchestration, RAG integration, and backend systems.
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve roadblocks through collaboration with stakeholders and peer teams.
  • Represent the team in cross-org planning, status updates, and strategic reviews with senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field. A PhD or research background in AI is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or applied ML, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience managing teams working on AI/ML systems, backend services, or data-intensive applications.
  • Demonstrated success delivering production AI or ML features, preferably involving LLMs, agent frameworks, or real-time data systems.
  • Deep understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and cloud-native delivery practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and people management skills.
  • Experience hiring and mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
  • Familiarity with healthcare workflows, data privacy, and regulatory considerations (HIPAA, HITRUST) is a strong plus.
Why Join Oracle Health?
  • Play a defining role in shaping the future of healthcare through intelligent automation.
  • Lead cutting-edge AI development for a mission-driven organization with massive scale and impact.
  • Collaborate with world-class talent in AI, healthcare, and enterprise software.
  • Enjoy a dynamic, supportive environment with a strong culture of innovation and execution.
If you’re passionate about building teams, delivering AI solutions, and improving healthcare, we invite you to join us in this exciting journey.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.
