Schedule:- Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Ripon, CA, USA, Pacific Time (with 1-hour unpaid break)

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Finance Controller with CPA-level responsibilities, where you'll have significant impact on financial planning, forecasting, and system optimization across multiple thriving businesses. You'll work directly with leadership to streamline financial processes and build robust systems that support continued growth. This role offers the chance to leverage your expertise in a fast-paced environment while working with cutting-edge tools and supporting a local finance team.
Scopes:
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Remote work from Philippines
- Managing financial operations for three companies with low eight figures revenue
- Handling millions of dollars in financial transactions and oversight
- Working closely with local finance admin for coordination and support
- Direct reporting to company leadership
Responsibilities:
- Take over complete finance operations for multiple companies
- Conduct tax planning and financial forecasting
- Follow up on accounts payable and manage vendor relationships
- Build and optimize systems to aid in financial forecasting and reporting
- Manage QuickBooks Online for all financial transactions and reporting
- Update Monday.com CRM system when automated processes aren't available
- Create and maintain finance dashboards using Monday.com
- Process certified payroll for government construction projects (California-specific requirements)
- Support and coordinate with local finance admin on bookkeeping tasks
- Handle reconciliations and financial analysis
Requirements
- CPA-level qualifications and experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience with the Monday.com CRM system preferred.
- Proven experience with GAAP-compliant accounting methods
- Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets skills including complex formulas
- Experience with California-specific certified payroll requirements
- Background in government/construction industry accounting (preferred)
- Tax planning and forecasting expertise
- Experience with accounts payable management
- System building and process optimization capabilities
