Our reputation for precision, transparency, and excellence in quoting is a cornerstone of our success — and we are now seeking a Senior Estimator to take the lead in this critical area.

Position Overview

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for owning and managing the entire quoting function of the business. You will work with multimillion-dollar architectural home projects and are expected to produce exceptionally accurate, detailed, and clear quotes using architectural and interior design plans. This is the most important role in our company and requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong technical understanding, and unwavering integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and dissect complex architectural and interior design plans to identify all elements within scope
  
• Conduct full material and labour takeoffs and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
  
• Generate comprehensive, itemised, and client-ready quotes using Houzz Pro
  
• Interpret unclear or ambiguous design details to ensure complete scope inclusion
  
• Identify and flag missing information or areas of financial risk in project documentation
  
• Collaborate closely with the Director to review and finalise all estimates
  
• Handle company intellectual property, pricing structures, and client information with the utmost confidentiality
  
• Maintain consistency, speed, and accuracy without compromising on quality
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential construction estimating (Australian market experience preferred)
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  
• Proven track record in quoting high-end or architecturally designed residential projects
  
• Exceptional ability to read and interpret detailed architectural and interior plans
  
• Proficient in estimating tools such as Houzz Pro, CONX, Buildxact, CostX, Cubit, or similar platforms
  
• Advanced proficiency in preparing clean, accurate, and fully itemised quotes
  
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and methodical in approach
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
• Absolute discretion in handling confidential and sensitive materials
  
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage 3–5 complex quoting projects per week
