This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week, 4 hours daily
  • Flexible scheduling with potential to grow into full-time role
  • Remote work arrangement
  • Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time (AEST/AEDT)

Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms with countdown campaigns and promotional posts
  • Design graphics using Canva for social media, promotions, and marketing materials
  • Schedule and format newsletters through MailerLite, including promotional sections and campaign elements
  • Manage BookFunnel platform for advanced reader distributions and author collaboration swaps
  • Update WordPress website with new content, graphics, and promotional materials
  • Maintain and manage the business owner's calendar and scheduling
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with 6-month advance planning and scheduling
  • Create promotional countdown sequences (5 posts daily, 5 days before launches)
  • Handle administrative tasks related to book launches and marketing coordination
  • Manage author swap arrangements and promotional partnerships

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a social media specialist with content creation and scheduling capabilities
  • Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and visual content creation
  • WordPress experience for website content management and updates
  • Strong understanding of marketing campaign coordination and scheduling
  • Self-driven personality with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (MailerLite preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple promotional timelines
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions while taking initiative on routine tasks
  • Understanding of digital marketing funnels and promotional strategies

Scopes:

  • Direct reporting to business owner with regular communication and feedback
  • Access to multiple marketing platforms and tools (MailerLite, BookFunnel, WordPress, Canva)
  • Involvement in complete book launch cycles from pre-promotion through release
  • Opportunity for additional responsibilities and skill development as role expandsBonus: German language skills preferred for potential market expansion (not required)
