This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Sydney time (with a one-hour daily break)
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours


Our client is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Social Media Manager with proven expertise in Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and experience in the retail sector. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media marketing, data-driven in decision-making, and adept at creating and managing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. Experience with TikTok advertising is a strong plus.


This role covers the full social media strategy — from planning and content creation to paid advertising and performance analysis — ensuring campaigns align with brand goals and deliver measurable ROI.



Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (if applicable) to boost brand awareness, engagement, and sales.

  • Plan and manage seasonal retail campaigns, promotions, and product launches alongside the marketing team.

Paid Advertising (Meta Ads Focus)

  • Create, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns on Meta platforms to drive conversions and in-store/online traffic.

  • Conduct A/B testing to improve targeting, creatives, and bidding strategies.

  • Monitor ad spend, budgets, and KPIs to maximize ROI.

Content Creation & Management

  • Oversee content calendars ensuring posts follow brand guidelines and promotional schedules.

  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and copywriters to produce engaging social media content.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and other tools.

  • Provide actionable insights to enhance campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.

Community Management

  • Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.

  • Monitor online sentiment and feedback to guide future campaigns.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

  • Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activities to maintain a fresh, competitive digital presence.



Key Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on social media management in retail, focusing on Meta Ads campaign management.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads Manager (if applicable).

  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, pixel tracking, and conversion optimization.

  • Ability to interpret data and convert insights into effective strategies.

Creative Skills:

  • Experience briefing and collaborating with designers and content creators.

  • Knowledge of engagement and sales drivers in retail social campaigns.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organization and time management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
