Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented LS Nav Support Specialist to provide technical and functional support for the client’s LS Nav/LS Central systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of POS systems, inventory management modules, and back-office functions across the company’s retail network.
This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who understands retail workflows and can respond quickly to system issues, minimising downtime and optimising store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for LS Nav/LS Central systems, including troubleshooting issues in POS, back-office, and inventory modules.
- Configure and maintain LS Nav functionalities in alignment with operational requirements and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to retail operations.
- Prepare, test, and implement system updates, patches, and feature enhancements.
- Train and guide store staff on LS Nav best practices and system features.
- Generate and analyse reports to support decision-making and identify operational improvements.
- Liaise with software vendors for escalated technical issues.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with LS Nav or LS Central in a retail environment. LS Retail/Business Central developer experience is also desirable
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in LS Nav configuration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP.
- Ability to write and run SQL queries and generate custom reports.
- Understanding of retail POS systems and workflows.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
