Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented  LS Nav Support Specialist to provide technical and functional support for the client’s LS Nav/LS Central systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of POS systems, inventory management modules, and back-office functions across the company’s retail network.

This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who understands retail workflows and can respond quickly to system issues, minimising downtime and optimising store performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for LS Nav/LS Central systems, including troubleshooting issues in POS, back-office, and inventory modules.
  • Configure and maintain LS Nav functionalities in alignment with operational requirements and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to retail operations.
  • Prepare, test, and implement system updates, patches, and feature enhancements.
  • Train and guide store staff on LS Nav best practices and system features.
  • Generate and analyse reports to support decision-making and identify operational improvements.
  • Liaise with software vendors for escalated technical issues.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with LS Nav or LS Central in a retail environment. LS Retail/Business Central developer experience is also desirable
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in LS Nav configuration and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP.
    • Ability to write and run SQL queries and generate custom reports.
    • Understanding of retail POS systems and workflows.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
