About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a finance environment and possess working knowledge of banking processes, reconciliations, and KYC compliance. You will work closely with the finance lead to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and records management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of accounts
- Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and data entry
- Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Liaise with banks regarding payments, transfers, and account-related queries
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure financial compliance by helping collect and verify KYC documents
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for finance records
Requirements
- Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role
- Familiarity with banking procedures and financial documentation
- Basic understanding of KYC/AML compliance
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
