Role Overview
Seeking a dedicated Apollo.io Lead Generation Specialist to support outbound prospecting efforts across global sustainability and tourism sectors. This full-time role will own the structure, execution, and optimization of campaigns using the Apollo.io platform, ensuring high-quality lead generation aligned with mission and growth targets. You’ll work closely with sales leadership to build scalable systems that feed qualified prospects into our sales funnel, with a strong focus on strategy, automation, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate and manage Apollo.io as the lead platform for outbound prospecting
- Build and maintain campaign architecture, automations, and audience segmentation
- Develop and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) per sector and region
- Set up multi-stage cold outreach campaigns with A/B testing and personalization
- Integrate Apollo.io activities with D365 CRM and ensure clean data syncing
- Adapt campaign copy and workflows for tone, regional context, and cultural nuance
- Monitor campaign performance and lead quality, and recommend improvements
- Build dashboards and reports to track campaign KPIs and ROI
- Collaborate with sales leadership on lead generation strategy and prioritization
- Maintain documentation of all workflows, SOPs, and campaign processes
Role Scope
- Full-time, dedicated internal role with no direct client interaction
- Reporting to VP, Business Development & Sales
- Supports lead generation across global verticals and target regions
- Strategic and execution responsibilities across the entire Apollo.io lifecycle
- Works closely with internal teams (sales, telesales, marketing) to drive outreach performance
Requirements
- Advanced Apollo.io experience, including campaign building, automations, and reporting
- Strong understanding of B2B lead generation, segmentation, and list building
- Familiarity with D365 or comparable CRM systems and data hygiene practices
- Solid grasp of email outreach copywriting and campaign optimization techniques
- Experience working across global markets with regional and cultural sensitivity
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and suggest pivots
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in tagging, filtering, and ICP management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Background in tourism, ESG, sustainability, or professional services
- Experience supporting sales teams in impact-led or certification-based industries
- Prior experience documenting workflows or training others in outbound tools
