About the opportunity and our B2B marketing team
This role drives lifecycle and marketing automation solutions for our business customers. It is located within our Parcels, Post & eCommerce division which encompasses product management, sales, customer success, and the B2B marketing team in which this role forms part of.

The role is based in our Melbourne Support Office, on 480 Swan Street in Richmond and right next to Burnley train station. Your day to day environment will be sitting with the wider Australia Post marketing team in a comfortable, light filled, spacious, user-friendly office with excellent public transport links.
What you’ll deliver with us
As a Lifecycle Automation Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in executing our B2B lifecycle and engagement strategy—delivering orchestrated, personalised journeys that drive measurable impact across the customer lifecycle.
You’ll join a high-performing team dedicated to bringing lifecycle initiatives to life through multi-channel automation. Using a robust martech stack—including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Adobe, and Seismic—you’ll design and activate dynamic, data-driven experiences that meet customers where they are. From trigger-based campaigns and personalised content to multi-channel orchestration and lifecycle-informed decisioning, you’ll lead initiatives that span onboarding, engagement, retention, and growth.

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Customer-Centric Journey Design - Contribute to the development of the B2B Lifecycle Marketing Strategy in mapping customer needs and designing communication journeys that add value at every touchpoint. Use insights from research and Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud to inform journey strategy and segmentation.
- Data-Driven Program Execution - Lead the development and execution of prioritised B2B lifecycle initiatives aligned to the overarching strategy and commercial goals. Translate business requirements into scalable martech solutions using SFMC, Data Cloud, Adobe, and Seismic to deliver automated, personalised experiences across email, SMS, push, and in-product channels.
- Sales Enablement Platform Support - Contribute to the ongoing management and optimisation of the Seismic platform – ensuring sales teams have timely, relevant, and approved content to support customer conversations and campaign execution.
- 1:1 Communication Strategy Execution - Lead and execute personalised 1:1 communication strategies for major campaigns and programs, ensuring the right message reaches the right customer at the right time through the most effective channel.
- Content & Experience Creation - Collaborate with internal SMEs to craft content and orchestrate customer experiences that meet project briefs. Build and personalise communications using dynamic content and batch sends in SFMC.
- Performance Analysis & Optimisation - Continuously analyse lifecycle performance, experiments, and customer success metrics. Apply a test-and-learn mindset to optimise journeys and ensure every interaction delivers impact and magic.
- Governance & Best Practice Leadership - Champion direct communication best practices and ensure compliance with email industry standards. Contribute to martech strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and governance frameworks across marketing and sales enablement
- Innovation & Competitive Awareness - Stay ahead of industry trends by monitoring competitor activity and emerging technologies. Help evolve the marketing automation roadmap and sales enablement capabilities to drive innovation and operational efficiency
About you
You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for customer-centric marketing and a knack for turning data into action. With experience in B2B lifecycle marketing, you thrive in fast-paced environments where automation, personalisation, and performance go hand in hand. You’re confident working across martech platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Seismic, Adobe, and Data Cloud—and you know how to use them to craft seamless, scalable journeys that deliver real impact.
You’re comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating complex business needs into elegant, automated solutions. You bring a test-and-learn mindset to everything you do, continuously optimising communications and experiences to drive engagement, retention, and growth. Whether you’re building 1:1 comms strategies for major campaigns or supporting sales enablement through platform management, you’re always focused on delivering value—for the customer and the business.
You’ll also need:
Hands on experience with key platforms int eh B2B Martech stack such as Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Seismic.
Excellent data literacy, both in the retrieval and cleaning of data and the presentation and visualisation of data.
A collaborative nature and demonstrated ability to work across a multi-team, matrixed, large organisation at scale.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to think laterally and make data driven decisions.
A strong ability to work across different stakeholder groups, and deliver messages to the right people at the right time.
