Job Description
Step into an exciting hybrid role that combines administrative excellence with strategic business development in the influencer marketing space. You’ll be the backbone of operations, managing critical communications while actively contributing to business growth through targeted outreach efforts. This position offers the perfect blend of organizational tasks and creative prospecting, where you’ll help identify and connect with brands that align with our creators’ niches. You’ll work directly with the agency owner, gaining valuable insights into the influencer industry while developing skills in lead generation, relationship management, and strategic communication. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a direct impact on business growth while working with cutting-edge marketing tools and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Email Management Excellence: Streamline and organize the primary business inbox, expertly filtering through inquiries to identify high-value paid partnership opportunities while eliminating spam and irrelevant affiliate requests
- Strategic Brand Prospecting: Utilize Apollo.io and LinkedIn to research and identify target brands in specific niches (food, lifestyle, cookware, etc.), building comprehensive prospect lists for outreach campaigns
- Professional Outreach Campaigns: Craft compelling, personalized pitch emails to marketing and social media professionals at target brands, representing our creators with professionalism and strategic insight
- Contact Research & Database Management: Extract and organize contact information from LinkedIn profiles, building and maintaining robust CRM systems for ongoing relationship management
- Inbound Communication Handling: Manage initial brand responses and inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication that moves opportunities forward
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Conduct post-mortem reviews of completed sponsorship partnerships, tracking success metrics and identifying opportunities for future collaboration
- Relationship Maintenance: Monitor and manage ongoing brand relationships, implementing systematic follow-up strategies for brands not contacted within 6+ months
- Content Brief Support: Assist in creating detailed partnership briefs that clearly communicate campaign requirements and expectations to creators
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Execute strategic Instagram DM campaigns when traditional email outreach requires additional touchpoints
Requirements
- Experience Foundation: 2-3 years of proven experience in administrative support, marketing assistance, or business development roles
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of LinkedIn navigation, email management systems, and CRM platforms, with Apollo.io experience preferred or eagerness to master the platform quickly
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding written communication skills with the ability to craft professional, persuasive emails that represent the agency’s brand effectively
- Industry Insight: Understanding of social media marketing landscape and influencer industry dynamics, with ability to think strategically about brand-creator partnerships
- Tool Mastery: Proficiency with Google Workspace suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs) and comfort learning new marketing and prospecting tools
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to research and identify potential brand partners that align with creator niches and campaign objectives
- Independence & Initiative: Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
- Detail-Oriented Approach: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to accuracy in contact management and communication tracking
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle diverse tasks ranging from administrative support to strategic business development activities
