SaaS Management Accountant

This is a remote position.

• Work Schedule: Mon-Friday  NZT

• Full-time position (40 hours per week) 
  
• Finance manager level responsibilities or just below
  
• Direct reporting relationship with senior leadership

• Timezone preference for Asia-Pacific region (Philippines, New Zealand area)
  

• Execute month-end close processes and ensure timely completion
  
• Pull reports from Xero and populate Excel financial models
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
  
• Prepare intercompany journals between different entities
  
• Support consolidated reporting across multiple jurisdictions
  
• Maintain and update financial models in Excel (three-way modeling)
  
• Work with Stripe billing data and subscription revenue reconciliation
  
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  
  

Requirements

• Strong accounting foundation with 3-4 years of experience
  
• CA or CPA qualification preferred
  
• Expert-level proficiency in Xero accounting software
  
• Experience with Stripe payment processing platform
  
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and three-way modeling
  
• Experience with month-end close processes and intercompany accounting
  
• SaaS or subscription revenue model experience preferred (can be taught)
  
• Strong English communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently as a "safe pair of hands"
