Job Description

We’re seeking a versatile Medical Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic chiropractic practice and play a vital role in streamlining operations and enhancing patient experience. This exciting position offers the perfect blend of healthcare administration, digital marketing support, and patient engagement activities. You’ll work closely with the practice owner to ensure smooth daily operations while contributing to the practice’s growth through social media management and patient retention efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied work environment and wants to make a meaningful contribution to patient care and practice success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media presence by posting engaging content using existing templates and creating multi-slide posts for Instagram and Facebook
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks including organizing and categorizing credit card statement charges and accurately inputting financial data into Excel spreadsheets
  • Conduct patient outreach and retention activities to strengthen patient relationships and improve practice engagement
  • Manage email inbox organization and respond to routine correspondence
  • Coordinate calendar scheduling and appointment management to optimize practice efficiency
  • Complete various data entry projects and administrative tasks to support seamless practice operations
  • Assist with general administrative duties that contribute to overall practice success and patient satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and healthcare privacy standards
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Facebook
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with data entry and financial record keeping
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills and adapting to evolving responsibilities in a healthcare environment
