This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm Mountain timezone with an hour of unpaid break.

Responsibilities:
Profile Optimization
- Claim, verify, and fully optimize Google Business Profiles for clients or multiple locations.
- Create a strategy for building out GBP profiles to maximize the effectiveness of posts, Q&A, Services, eetc.
- Execute and optimize local SEO strategies for home service businesses (primarily plumbing and HVAC).
- Work alongside On-Page Specialists to implement GBP ranking strategies.
- Conduct GBP audits, review competitor profiles and implement improvements.
- Analyze review trends to inform business or customer service improvements.

Insights & Reporting
- Analyze rankings, traffic, and conversion data to measure performance and provide recommendations.
- Monitor GBP insights (views, clicks, calls, direction requests, etc.).
- Track improvements in local search and map pack visibility

Profile Health & Compliance
- Ensure the profile adheres to Google’s guidelines to avoid suspension.
- Stay updated on changes to GBP features, policies, and best practices.
- Handle reinstatements and troubleshooting in case of suspensions or issues.

GBP Integration
- Ensure GBP links are properly set up (website, appointment URLs, menus, etc.).
- Coordinate with website team to ensure GBP and site info are aligned (schema, NAP consistency, UTM tagging).

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Local SEO, preferably 2+ years.
- Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile management.
- Experience with local citation building and cleanup. (e.g., BrightLocal, Whitespark)
- Familiarity with on-page SEO principles (meta tags, schema markup, etc.).
- Strong keyword research skills with a local intent focus.
- Ability to track and measure performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (e.g. Places Scout, Local Brand Manager).
- Experience optimizing for local pack rankings and map visibility.
