Schedule: 10am-3pm EST, Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week

Job Purpose
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, people-loving Prospecting and Lead Generation Specialist who thrives on conversation and connection. If you love talking to people, uncovering their needs, and opening doors for meaningful business relationships, this role is for you. As a key player in our growth strategy, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential commercial and residential customers—sparking interest, starting conversations, and qualifying leads for our sales team. Your work will directly contribute to our pipeline health and long-term success.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research and identify high-potential commercial prospects using tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Apollo, and more
  • Initiate engaging outreach to commercial and residential prospects via phone, email, and social platforms—you're not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Build rapport with prospects and uncover pain points, goals, and decision-making criteria
  • Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls or meetings for the sales team
  • Maintain clean, up-to-date records of outreach and interactions in our CRM (Service Titan)
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to improve messaging and target the right audiences
  • Provide feedback from customer conversations to help refine our approach and offerings
  • Track lead generation metrics and continuously test new outreach methods

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or customer-facing roles
  • A natural conversationalist who genuinely enjoys speaking with people and learning their stories
  • Confident and personable—comfortable initiating conversations with strangers
  • Excellent verbal communication skills - clear, minimally accented English
  • Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Familiar with prospecting tools and CRMs—or quick to learn
  • Resilient: you don’t take rejection personally and keep going with a smile
Nice to have:
  • Background in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical trades
  • Experience with outbound campaigns, sales sequences, or email automation tools
  • Interest in sales, marketing, or customer success as a career path
