This is a remote position.
We’re looking for a skilled SEO Specialist to take ownership of our ongoing optimization efforts and ensure our website stays at the top of its game. In this role, you’ll dive into the backend of our site, implement impactful SEO improvements, and execute strategies that boost rankings, visibility, and traffic. If you have hands-on experience in technical SEO, a knack for keeping sites optimized, and a passion for the fitness and wellness industry, this is your chance to make a real impact.Job Highlights:
- Contract type: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1-hour unpaid break
Scope:
- Full ownership of SEO strategy and implementation
- Backend website access for technical SEO work
- Ongoing monthly SEO maintenance and optimization
- Immediate priority role requiring quick ramp-up
- Potential for combination with social media responsibilities if candidate has both skillsets
- Handle ongoing SEO updates and optimization that require consistent attention
- Access and work within the backend of the company website to implement SEO improvements
- Execute SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and visibility
- Manage SEO tasks that previously got pushed to the bottom of the priority list
- Ensure website SEO is brought up to speed and maintained at optimal levels
Requirements
- Proven experience with SEO optimization and best practices
- Technical ability to work with website backend systems
- Knowledge of ongoing SEO maintenance and update requirements
- Ability to work independently and prioritize SEO tasks effectively
- Understanding of fitness/wellness industry SEO considerations preferred
